There are plenty of travel options available to get to and from TRNSMT and it is strongly advised that you travel to Glasgow City by public transport and walk to Glasgow Green.
There is no festival parking. Glasgow Green is located within a residential area and there will be road closures in place during the festival weekend.
Please respect the local community and our neighbours when you are entering and leaving the festival.
Glasgow Green is well serviced by all major travel hubs in the city centre which are all within walking distance of the festival site. Click here to view the walking routes.
Make sustainable travel choices with free bus travel for everyone under 22 years old living in Scotland.
5–21 year-olds living in Scotland, no matter of their nationality, can apply for a new National Entitlement Card (NEC) or Young Scot NEC to access free bus travel across the country to reach TRNSMT. Glasgow Green can be accessed via Buchanan Bus Station which is around a 20 minute walk away from the TRNSMT entrance.

First Bus services 2,18,60,61,64,240,255 and 263 all stop within a five minute walk to Glasgow Green.
Glasgow Green can be accessed from 5 Rail Stations all within a fifteen minute walk. These are:
- Glasgow Central Station
- Glasgow Queen Street Station
- Glasgow High Street Station
- Glasgow Argyle Street Station
- Glasgow Bridgeton Station

Glasgow Green can be accessed from 2 subway stations both within a fifteen minute walk.
These are:
- Buchanan Street station
- St Enoch Station
Note this service will not be available post event on the Sunday.
Happy Bus provide a chartered coach service with parking close to Glasgow Green.
For anyone travelling from England, the Green Bus Company have a service straight to Glasgow Green.
Due to road closures, it is not possible for cars to get close to Glasgow Green on show days.
The following 4 locations are recommended and are considered most convenient when arranging to drop off or pick up.
- North - Duke Street at High Street
- South – Caledonia Road
- East – London Road, east of Bridgeton Rail Station
- West – Broomielaw, west of Oswald Street
Glasgow Green will be serviced by 7 car parks all within a fifteen minute walk.

NCP Montrose Street - 230 spaces
Merchant City High Street - 200 spaces
NCP King Street - 660 spaces

All vehicles entering the Glasgow City Centre Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) will need to meet the less-polluting emission standards or face a penalty charge.
